Collection description
Dataset 1 were collected in Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, from mid-June 2016 to Mid-March 2022. Data were collected using camera traps whereby 6 camera traps were placed at intervals 2km along three transects. The data has the following columns; area, date, camera ID, migrant present, distance to boundary, grass nitrogen and delta Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (dNDVI). The data were used to examine spatial distribution of migratory species as a function of human activity, forage quality and greening or drying of vegetation in Serengeti National Park, Tanzania and stored in a comma-separated values format.
Dataset 2 has the following columns; camera area, camera ID, longitude and latitude. The data were used create a map of the locations were camera traps we deployed and stored in a comma-separated values format.
