Collection description

This dataset supports the publication “Location estimation for supporting adaptive beamforming” published in Ad Hoc Networks (2025).

The dataset was generated using ray-tracing simulations in realistic urban and campus environments. It contains channel information used for location estimation, including received signal strength (RSS), angle of arrival (AoA), time of arrival (ToA), and extracted multipath components (MPCs).

The dataset includes both line-of-sight (LoS) and non-line-of-sight (NLoS) scenarios. Processed feature sets used for machine learning model training and evaluation are provided, along with documentation describing preprocessing steps and dataset partitioning (training and testing splits).

The purpose of the dataset is to enable reproducibility of the location estimation framework proposed in the paper and to support further research on adaptive beamforming and intelligent wireless systems.
