Collection description

Data from RADYN simulations reprocessed with Lightweaver, using scripts from MsLightweaver.

The standard RADYN output (radyn_out.cdf) is in the standard CDF format. The atmost.dat files contain the thermodynamic properties of the atmosphere in RADYN at every timestep and is in an unformatted F77 binary format "documented" by the functions that read it in MsLightweaver.

The output from reprocessing these simulations are in the python pickle format, and require Lightweaver installed and the MsLightweaver modules available on the local path. These should work directly with the plotting notebook in MsLightweaver. In the possible future event the pickles can't be loaded all of the MsLightweaver output is also present in the Zarr format more suited to long-term archival, but not directly supported by the analysis scripts.
