Collection description

This dataset comprises an integrated catchment-scale database developed to investigate the environmental controls on rainfall–runoff lag time in Philippine catchments. It combines derived lag time metrics from rainfall–runoff modelling with physiographic and landscape predictor variables, including topographic indices and land use/land cover classifications.

The dataset was constructed to support generalized additive model (GAM) analyses aimed at identifying non-linear relationships between catchment characteristics and hydrological response timing. It enables replication of the statistical modelling, uncertainty assessment (via bootstrapping), and predictive analyses presented in Tolentino et al. (2026).
