Collection description

Overview:

Cycling Scotland was established in 2003 as a national charity to represent cycling interests and to increase levels of cycling. Our vision is of a sustainable, inclusive and healthy Scotland where anyone, anywhere, can enjoy all the benefits of cycling.

Cycling Scotland National Monitoring Framework dataset:

Cycling counts data from National Monitoring Framework project (Scotland) 2017-2018. This dataset comprises data about cycling counts in various streets within Scotland and includes manual traffic surveys with counts of various modes of transport.

Dataset is arranged by council area and then by particular streets within the area. There are:
• manual traffic surveys which consist of counts of various modes of transport
• other surveys specifically for cycling or pedestrian counts.
• contents files included for each council area with geographic location information.

Access and restrictions:

This dataset was part of UBDC's data collections but the data is no longer available. This is a metadata record for research data integrity purposes.
