Collection description

This dataset contains research data gathered and analysed as part of doctoral research into the contribution that material evidence makes to the interpretation of historic textile pattern books and archivists’ consideration of the records’ materiality when facilitating digital access to textile heritage collections. The dataset contains data collected through a survey of textile heritage researchers; from interviews with heritage professionals; and the researcher’s physical study of archived pattern books.
