The data files associated with this record were destroyed/deleted on the 14 April 2026 in line with the approved retention schedule.  The principal aim of the study was to identify how musical identities relate to health and wellbeing over the youth-adult transition. The development of musical identities as traced and the structure of music preference investigate; to highlight associations between musical identity and risky health behaviours; to study the relationship between musical identities and emotional wellbeing; and to address the significance of musical identities in transitions to adulthood.
