The controlled datasets contain pseudonymised participant-level health and demographic information. Raw audio recordings and direct-identifying metadata are not included because the applicable consent and ethics conditions do not permit sharing or reuse. The raw audio will not be transferred to the repository. Please create the repository record and mint/reserve the DOI before transfer of the final files so it can be cited in the manuscript."  Controlled access required sent terms and conditions for controlled data and asked for consent and PIS forms.

2026-07-24 LTW Mary advised that this needs to be a closed deposit. Checking with Matt if we need to see ethics for second cohort of participants, and if code and documentation can be shared. - Asked author for Syria cohort paperwork and suggested GitHub for code.

2026-07-28 GA Author has agreed that a closed deposit for the participant-level acoustic-feature data from the UK cohort. The repository record, README, data dictionary, and other non-identifying documentation can be made openly available. Confirmed mixed licences: MIT Licence for analysis/extraction code; CC BY 4.0 for README, data dictionary, and non-disclosive aggregate outputs. They will send a DOI for GitHub to be linked to enlighten record. They have asked if we require the original Arabic documents together with an English translation, or whether an English translation alone would be sufficient. They have also asked whether the English translation may be prepared by them and submitted alongside the original Arabic documents, or whether we require a certified translation completed, signed, and stamped by a professional translator? Have asked Mary/Matt for advice. They will not include the Syrian participant-level feature dataset until we have reviewed the relevant documentation and confirmed the appropriate access conditions. Author has asked for DOI number, have provided it and advised that record obviously not yet live until data received & answers regarding translation resolved.

She has also sent an amended data deposit form showing that the participant-level acoustic-feature data as a closed deposit rather than controlled access, and lists Dr Raneem Knaj and Dr @Julien Le Kernec as the dataset creators.. Have saved this as 2332a and updated record. Have added GitHub & Zenodo links to record

2026-07-29 JB author has queried if they need to send  original Arabic documents together with an English translation.  MMD confirmed that "We need the original Arabic documents with a translation into English.
The translation can be done by the researcher and does not need to be certified" replied to author.  Checking with GA if the author has completed the terms and conditions form for close data.

2026-08-03 AA MMD advised that closed data can be kept and deleted after 10 years, open data can be uploaded to record. DOI coined and record made live. Data uploaded to Arkivum in combined zip folder. Closed data not to be made available.
