Data Covers From: 22040 cal BP To: 9980 cal BP</note>
The dataset includes the results of stable oxygen isotope analysis of diatoms and stable hydrogen isotope analysis of n-alkanoic acids from the Lake Suigetsu sediment cores. The dataset spans from 22,000 – 10,000 cal BP and samples for each analysis were taken contiguously to each represent ~100 years of integrated time (n = 120). These results were used to reconstruct East Asian Winter Monsoon and East Asian Summer Monsoon behaviour across Glacial Termination I. The total lipid extract concentration and n-alkanoic acid concentrations of key chain lengths of each sample, which are proxies of catchment productivity, are also provided.
