This data was collected in June and July 2018 in the context of the Dress and Textile Histories MLitt dissertation titled, 'Glasgow's 1980s Independent Music Scene, A Sartorial Influence'.
The data consists of interviews with four participants who were involved to various degrees with the two waves of the independent music scene in Glasgow during the 1980s.
The interviews focus on dress and personal style and also record participants' opinions on the contribution of the Glasgow's Miles Better campaign, the Garden Festival, and 1990 European City of Culture to the changes Glasgow has undergone since the 1980s.
