Symmetry Reduction and Shape Effects in Concave Chiral Plasmonic Structures

Data files are collated in the attached folders and are described below. Files with the dm3/dm4 extension are in Gatan's proprietary Digital Micrograph (DM) format (details at the time of writing are advertised at: http://www.gatan.com/products/tem-analysis/gatan-microscopy-suite-software). Note that metadata within original DM files are not updated consistently and could contain errors. EELS measurements were collected using the spectrum imaging methodology (see manuscript for details), where a dark field 'survey image' is first acquired and then EELS data within a sub-region indicated within the survey image is recorded. Details of the data acquisition and processing are included in the manuscript. Files with the mat extension can be opened with Matlab and contain the simulation geometry and meshes. Files with the hdf5 extension contain the simulated EELS data in the Hyperspy file format (details are available at hyperspy.org) and can be opened with any hdf5 compatible software. Further details of the simulations are discussed in the manuscript.
