Readme to Dataset of "CMOS compatible metamaterial absorbers for hyperspectral medium wave infrared imaging and sensing applications" The Dataset has 4 main directories: 1. Lumerical FDTD Simulations 2. FTIR Experimental Characterisation 3. Analysis 3. SEM Images For the Lumerical FDT Simulations folder the data is organised into specific sub-folders relating to the dielectric thickness of each MIM metamaterial structure - 25 nm, 50, 75 and 100 nm SiO2. The non-normal incident simulations were run using the "angled.fsp" file and the "angled.lsf" script in the "Angled" subfolder. The SiO2 thickness and polarisation angle was adjusted accordingly in the .fsp file. The .lsf script file then ran 60 simulations at several non-normal incidencent angles up to 60 degrees and displayed the results. Each simulation file is ~50 MB. Over 100 GB of data was generated therefore in this dataset only the standard simulation file and the script for running the simulations are stored. The FTIR Characterisation folder is self-explanatory. The SEM images folder is also self-explanatory. In the analysis folder there are excel files with titles relating to their purpose. Again this is self-explanatory.
