This folder contains MATLAB scripts to generate the main data for manuscript titled "Optical performance of minimally invasive brain implants: a simulation and phantom study". "run_main_sim.mat" - generates the main data used the main manuscript in Figures 1-3. "eval_main.mat" - evaluates data generated by "run_main_sim.mat" and plots raw parts of figures used in the main manuscript, which were furhter modified and styled using Inkscape. "eval_sensitivity_roi.mat" - evaluates and plots the sensitivity region of interest data for BTC SDS = 8 mm for all shifted montage positions. Figures further modified using Inkscape. "resin/run_resin_holes.mat" - generates data of the 3D printed resin head phantom simulations used in the main manuscript in Figure 4. "resin/plot_resin_phantom.mat" - evaluate and plot simulation and experimental data for experimental validation. Other MATLAB data are head human head atlases. Other MATLAB scripts are functions supporting the data generating scripts. The Figures folder containst figures used in the main manuscript.
