Enforcement, extension, and entanglement: Punishing non-payment of financial penalties in Scotland - Community justice practitioner interviews

The dataset contains interview transcripts with 9 community justice practitioners working in Scotland. Data is anonymised to ensure participant confidentiality. 

Data was collected via online interviews (audio recording only), between August 2021 and October 2022. 

During interview, participants were asked about their work with people who had received fines and/or related financial penalties. Participants were also asked for their perspectives on the use, impact, and meaning of fines and financial penalties.
