Dipartimento di Scienza e Alta Tecnologia, Università degli Studi dell’Insubria, Via Valleggio 11, 22100, Como, Italy The data corresponds to the figures presented in the paper and is provided in *.txt, *.csv or *.dat format, and in MATLAB readable format (*.fig). Below is a description of the data files associated with each figure. DATA DESCRIPTION: Each folder contains the data points used for the figures in the paper. The data is organized by figure number and is available in .txt or .dat formats. FIGURE 2 folder: Fig2_PER_C-Band This folder contains the data for the polarisation extinction ratio (PER) plots ● Files: "Fig2_PER_C-Band_a.csv" and "Fig2_PER_C-Band_b.csv" contain data for Figure 2 a and Figure 2 b respectively. FIGURE 3 folder: Fig3_LP_C-LBand_Light ● Subfolders: Figure 3a, Figure 3b, Figure 3c, and Figure 3d. Figure 3a: ● Contains three .txt files: one for the x-axis values, one for the y-axis values, and one for the mean values measured from the lock-in amplifier for each wavelength at different polarization inputs. It also contains a *.fig file which is a figure file with data openable in MATLAB. Figure 3b, 3c, and 3d: ● Each folder contains *.csv or *.dat files with the x-axis and y-axis values for the respective plots. FIGURE 4 folder: Fig4_Dispersion ● Subfolders: 'before fiber' and 'after fiber'. Before Fiber: ● Contains pulse data in three *.txt files, each corresponding to different filters used, and one *.txt file for the x-axis values. After Fiber: ● Contains six *.txt files: three for the x-axis data and three for the y-axis data, corresponding to the three filters used. FIGURE 5 folder: Fig5_PER_Broadband ● The PER values plotted for each filter are in three separate *.txt files, and a fourth *.txt file contains the x-axis data. --------------- For any further questions or clarifications, please refer to the specific data files or contact the Authors.
