Samples were taken from the Lake Suigetsu "SG06" core.

Sheet 1 includes n-alkane and n-alkanoic acid concentrations of relevant chain lengths, normalised to dry sediment mass, 
n-alkane indices (Carbon Preference Index (CPI), Terrestrial-Aquatic Ratio (TAR) and Average Chain Length (ACL)), 
and compound-specific hydrogen isotope analysis of certain n-alkanoic acid homologues, fully corrected as per the methods and with corresponding errors.
The lower (younger) and upper (older) age limits of each sample are also provided.
