Terminology is SP# is a Single Phase flow of gas only, starting with the highest gas flow velocity and reducing to the minimum used in the test. MP# is for Multiphase flow test points which varied as shown on the table below. The following outlines the test points used in the Experimental test at NEL for the MUFFINS project in terms of both gas/liquid volumetric flow rate and gas/liquid superficial velocity: Test Point Number Gas flow rate Liquid flow rate Gas superficial velocity Liquid superficial velocity (m3/hr) (m3/hr) (ms-1) (ms-1) SP1 18.3 0 2.5 0 SP2 9.6 0 1.3 0 SP3 7.3 0 1.0 0 SP4 5.5 0 0.75 0 MP1 7.3 10.9 1.0 1.5 MP2 5.5 14.5 0.75 2.0 MP3 18.3 14.5 2.5 2.0 MP4 5.5 10.9 0.75 1.5 MP5 7.3 14.5 1.0 2.0 MP6 9.6 14.5 1.3 2.0 MP7 18.3 5.5 2.5 0.75 MP8 18.3 4 2.5 0.6 MP9 18.3 3 2.5 0.4 MP10 15 3 2.0 0.4 Folders are listed with either a single flow condition (MP# or SP#) which indicated the results refer to a flow which had fully established in the particular flow condition described by the values in the table above. Otherwise the folders are listed as (MP#-MP#, SP#-MP#) which capture the transition between the two flow conditions listed. The folder "TUV SUD Data" contains data captured by the TUV SUD NEL facility relating to the control of their various valves and flow metering. **** Folder Structure **** Within the SP, MP, SP-MP, MP-MP folders contains the date(s) the test(s) took place. Each date folder contains the results recorded on the DAQ system on that data for the given test point. ** DAQ data ** Within the DAQ folder are 3 text files, firstly for the accelerometer data for the 3 accelerometers placed on the riser. Secondly is the Strain Gauge data for the 7 active strain gauges (strain guages 1-7) located at the entrance and exit of the riser section. Finally, the "Voltages" folder contains the raw voltages recieved by the DAQ system. Details of where the accelerometers and strain guages were positioned is shown in the file "Instrumentation positioning.png"
