The files contained in this folder represent the numerical data utilised in the paper ('C. Martinelli, A. Coraddu, and A. Cammarano, “Approximating piecewise nonlinearities in dynamic systems with sigmoid functions: Advantages and limitations,” Nonlinear Dynamics',2023). 
The files are divided in folders and follow the numbering adopted in the paper's figures. For each figure, you can find the following sub-folders:
(1) - 0-Paper_Figures -> This folder contains the MATLAB/PDF figures shown in the paper (this folder is present for all the figures)
(2) - 1_Code -> This folder contains a MATLAB code which generates the figures of the paper.
