Note: All files with extension .TRM are .TXT files and should be opened as such. ******************************* * acetone_ethanol_data * ******************************* This folder contains 3 subfolders (1) Chem12-Native (2) Chem34_Decanethiol_HMDS (3) Chem56_Perfluorodecanethiol_PEG6-9 Folder (1) contains the transmission spectra for 12 (2 mono- and 10 bimetallic) sensing regions with the native chemistries of Al and Au. Folder (2) contains the transmission spectra for 12 (2 mono- and 10 bimetallic) sensing regions with the chemistries of Al-HMDS and Au-Decanethiol. Folder (3) contains the transmission spectra for 12 (2 mono- and 10 bimetallic) sensing regions with the chemistries of Al-PEG6-9 and Au-Perfluorodecanethiol. Each folder has 3 subfolders for the different solvents tested (a) acetone (b) ethanol (c) water Within these subfolders, are folders contain the .TRM spectra files of the transmission response of 12 sensor for > 10% Acetone v/v (a10 subfolders) > 20% Acetone v/v (a20 subfolders) > 30% Acetone v/v (a30 subfolders) > 10% Ethanol v/v (e10 subfolders) > 20% Ethanol v/v (e20 subfolders) > 30% Ethanol v/v (e30 subfolders) > Water (water) ******************************* * FDTD_data. * ******************************* FDTD_distances folder contains the FDTD transmission results (distance_between.txt file) and electric field results (.jpg files) for changing the distance between Au and Al nanostructures as used in the SI section. The .jpg files are named with their offset in x, then y, then the wavelength of the electric field. For example, x100y100_W493.jpg corresponds to the FDTD simulation where the offset in X is 100 nm, offset in Y is 100 nm and the electric field is from the wavelength of 493 nm. FDTD_periodicity folder contains the FDTD transmission results (bimetal_period_simulation_4nmRes.txt file) and electric field results (.jpg files) for optimizing the period for each metal of the bimetallic device. The .jpg file names correspond to the period and the wavelength at which the electric field is viewed in the figure. For example, 250_W445.jpg corresponds to the electric field at 445 nm from the simulation with a periodicity of 250 nm. ******************************* * SEM. * ******************************* Contains SEM images of the mono- (A1 and A6) and bimetallic sensors (B2, C2, C3, C4, C6, D3, E2, E5, F2, and F6). ******************************* * whisky_data * ******************************* This folder contains 3 subfolders (1) Chem1 (native Al, native Au) (2) Chem2 (Al-HMDS, Au-DT) (3) Chem3 (Al-PEG, Au-PFDT) Within each subfolder are sub-subfolders for transmission spectra of ethanol (40% ethanol), water, and the alcohols tested (under 'whisky' folder). The .TRM files are titled with the tongue the spectra correspond to (i.e. E2_ is the monometallic tongue corresponding to E2).
